Chef Henrietta Morris, a Pittsburgh native, is an example of what it means to step out on faith and bet on yourself. Morris decided to leave corporate life in 2010, after working 41 years and get back to doing what she ultimately loved. Now she is building a successful empire with personal chef services, a cookbook, mentorship, cooking classes and more. When she was 8 years old, Morris recalled learning everything there was to know about making delicious meals.
Growing up in the kitchen with her mother played an instrumental part in Morris’s culinary career. That was her classroom – Mom and me! Looking back, she realizes this was her foundation for her future endeavors.
She’s been catering for her community, for churches, weddings, family and friends for over 30+ years. A Graduate from the Pennsylvania Institute of Culinary Arts; a Graduate from the Bridal Consultant Academy Institute and a Graduate from North Carolina College of Theology – all with high Honors.
